Metro West Men's Ministry: Lessons from Malachi

Metro West Men's Ministry is a partnership between Westgate Church, First Baptist Church of Sudbury, and Trinitarian Congregational Church in Wayland. It's an opportunity for the men of each congregation to rub shoulders with men from other area churches as we all seek to grow in godliness together.

We meet on the second Saturday of each month (February - June) from 7:30 - 9:00 am at Westgate Church. We'll enjoy breakfast together and spend some time looking at God's Word. Our focus this year is the book of Malachi.

GOD IS BIGGER THAN YOU THINK: Lessons from Malachi
The book of Malachi is all about what happens when God’s people have a shallow and superficial view of God. In short, we end up living unholy lives that profane his name and pollute all of life—what we do in worship, how we handle his Word, what we do with our marriages, our money, and so on.

As men who are called to shepherd our families and congregations, we have an urgent responsibility to set the pace in taking our holy God serious in every aspect of life. Which means taking the gospel of Jesus serious—the good news that God’s holiness and mercy were exalted together at the cross, so that unholy sinners like us might be saved and set apart as holy to the Lord.

So join us as this Saturday morning as we as wrestle together with Malachi’s urgent reminder of what it means to honor God as holy.
