Million-Dollar Weston Home Destroyed By 4-Alarm Fire

Two residents made it out of the home safely.

WESTON, MA — Two Weston residents escaped the flames of an overnight four-alarm fire on Friday, but the million dollar home was destroyed. Weston fire officials said the fire started just after 11:30 p.m. on Friday and lasted into Saturday morning.

The fire started at the back of the home, located at 512 Glen Road, according to fire officials. Heavy flames spread up three floors. The two people sleeping on the second floor of the home were able to escape safely and no injuries were reported, according to Boston 25 News.

Crews tried to put the fire out from the inside of the home but were pushed back by the flames. Several neighboring fire stations helped battle the fire, including Natick, Newton, Waltham, Wayland, Wellesley, Needham, Lincoln and Bedford.

The home is over 4,000 square feet and listed at a value of $1.8 million on Zillow. The home was built in 1988 and last sold for $1,500,000 in August 2004, according to Zillow.
