Saturday, May 10 is town election day, and there is one contested race, for selectman.
Do you want a more open and transparent local government?
Are you in favor of sound fiscal policy and lower taxes?
Are you appalled at the sorry state of our public buildings, the Old Library and the Josiah Smith Tavern?
Would you like a place for residents to gather in Weston Center?
Does a self-sustaining Weston Center for the Arts in the Old Library sound good to you?
Would you like to see a small tavern next door, along with the Women's Community League and the Weston Historical Society?
Do you think it's foolish for Weston to sue Harvard University over the Case Estates purchase?
If you agree that we need to change the way our town is being run, vote for me as a member of our Board of Selectmen.
If you are not yet registered to vote, you may do so by Friday, April 18 at the Town Clerk's office.
Absentee ballots are also available at the Town Hall now.
