Wayland Farmers' Market starts 10th season tomorrow

The Wayland Summer Farmers’ Market returns for its tenth season on Wednesday June 25th from noon to 5 PM and runs weekly throughout the summer until October 8th.  Located in the front parking lot at Russell’s Garden Center on Route 20, the market is a wonderful opportunity to meet and support local farmers.  In addition the market features a free activity for children aged 2-6 from 1-2 pm through the end of August.

Summer is a great time to introduce children to healthy eating and cook together as a family.  Enjoy fresh, local vegetables, fruit, cheese, eggs, meat, seafood, honey, baked goods (including gluten-free), jam, jelly, root beer, pasta and sauce, salsa, pickles, farm wine, yarn and dog treats. On the Edge Sharpening will be on hand to sharpen your knives, garden tools and scissors. We recommend that you sign up for our weekly email (in season only) so that you will know which vendors will attend that week, and if there is a special event planned.   Go to russellsgardencenter.comto sign up online.
