Weston Officer Drunkenly Crashes At Police Station: DA
The officer is accused of being under the influence when he crashed into a parked car behind the Weston police station Sunday night.

WESTON, MA – A Weston police officer was allegedly drunk when he crashed into a parked car behind the police station Sunday night, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said. Leo Richards, 54, of Weston, is charged with operating under the influence and improper storage of a firearm.
Authorities said a dispatcher reported hearing a crash in the rear parking lot of the police station around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night. Richards, who was off-duty, was allegedly seen driving away from the lot. He was then asked to return to the police station to resolve the situation, which had damaged a parked car.
Richards was believed to be under the influence of alcohol when he returned to the station. He allegedly failed a subsequent sobriety test, according to the DA's office.
