O'Malley swept Holy Name precincts easily.
Matt O'Malley and Jim Hennigan will square off against each other for the Boston City Council District 6 seat on November 16.
O'Malley easily swept the Holy Name Parish School precincts, with Jim Hennigan coming in second place in those precincts.
Sean Ryan placed third overall.

Ryan spoke about his chances five minutes before the polls closed, "To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. I think I'll get the highest percentage of vote I've ever got in any election."
Ryan previously ran for Congress in 2008, and as an at-large city councilor in 2009.

Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral was at O'Malley's celebration party at Kelleher's, she said, "There are some things I know for a fact and one of them is you can't outwork Matt O'Malley. He knows it's the right job for him and he's going to convince every voter of that."
Hennigan and O'Malley will face off against each other on Nov. 16 to determine who will be the next Boston City Councilor for District 6. The seat represents West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and small parts of Roslindale and Mission Hill.
