New Kid Singer Joey McIntyre's Mother Has Died

New Kids on the Block singer and star of CBS’ “The McCarthys” Joey McIntyre has announced his mother has passed away.

The Boston Globe reported that Katherine Bowen McIntyre was battling with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in 1931 and died on Sunday, Nov. 30.

McIntyre wrote that his mother liked to write and sing, Boston.com noted.

“She’s singing a song to St. Peter now,” Joey Mac wrote on his Instagram. A picture of Joey’s mother with his son, Griffin is included:
