West Roxbury's Katie Regan, vice chair of and the Massachusetts Young Republicans Naational Committeewoman, spoke about being in the Granite State on Saturday.
"We doorknocked. The adventures in doorknocking continued," said Regan. "We had a great response. People were seeing us and coming up to us for lawn signs. I was also taken back by how similar it is to a local election, with doorknocking, it was as local as a state rep race. The same basics: hitting the pavement, introducing ourself to voters, and seeing who they are voting for in the primary. It was a good response for Romney."

Regan said she volunteered for the Romney campaign, which she characterized as well-organized, but added she hasn't made up her mind of who she'll vote for. "Romney is from Massachusetts so I went to volunterer and support him."
Regan was joined by fellow West Roxbury resident Brad Williams, the chair of both the Ward 20 Republican Committee and the Boston Republican City Committee, as well as Joe Goode, treasurer of Ward 20 Republican Committee. Five buses of Romney volunteers came from Massachusetts on Saturday, said Regan.
Regan and Williams did an 8-mile doorknocking loop in Hooksett, New Hampshire.
"People are excited for 2012... The buzz was about how much Romney would win and then garner that momentum to take it to South Carolina," said Regan, who also got to meet South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who was in New Hampshire.
Along with doorknocking, Regan and Williams checked out the Occupy New Hampshire Primary folks.
