Police Officer Helps Man in Wheelchair Escape Stormy Weather

A West Roxbury man was struggling to make it up a hill on Centre Street when the officer provided assistance.

As storm clouds rolled into West Roxbury Wednesday afternoon, a Boston Police officer lent a helping hand to a man in need.

A local resident in a wheelchair, who was afraid of getting caught in a downpour, was scrambling to wheel himself up a hill on Centre Street when a nearby officer hopped out of his cruiser to assist the man.
