Small Basement Fire Put Out By Boston Fire in Landseer Street Home in West Roxbury
One-alarm fire started in basement. Boston Fire officials on scene.
The Boston Fire Department quickly put out a one-alarm fire around 5:40 p.m. today that started in the basement of a Landseer Street home.
BFD Spokesperson Steve MacDonald said the fire started in the basement of 112 Landseer Street, West Roxbury, and firefighters were on scene as of 5:50 p.m. to make sure the fire had not spread to any part of the building. There were no reported injuries.
According to BOSTON_FF_29's twitter feed, the structure is a 2.5-story home, and the cause was believed to be due to a dryer.
