Why Do We Need Your Help?

· Joyce Kilmer Elementary, Roxbury Latin, and Beethoven School are all in the “impact zone” of the pipeline if an explosion were to happen.

· There are approximately 200 residents at the German Center –also in the Impact Zone.

If we are not successful, we risk:

· A potentially deadly explosion caused by the blasting at the quarry, third-party damage, or acts of terrorism.

· Potential environmental impact and noise pollution.

· Loss of property values and/or loss of property due to eminent domain.

We got great media attention at our last event.

We are inviting the media back! We need hundreds of concerned citizens at this event.

Bring your signs, your voices, and warm clothing!!

Time is running out. Let’s band together to stop this pipeline from coming to our neighborhood.

• Join us on Thursday, January 22, 2015 6:45 pm for a community meeting to discuss the pipeline and next steps to stop it at Fellowship Bible Church 47 Milton Street, Dedham.

• Go to www.swrl.info for more information and to stay informed.

• Call our elected officials by January 23rd and express the importance of posting their opposition to the same Environmental Impact Statement.

I’m calling to make sure you know about the proposed plan to build a high-pressure gas pipeline alongside the West Roxbury Crushed Stone quarry, where they have active blasting. Please post your comments in opposition to the West Roxbury Lateral Pipeline on the FERC website, referring to Docket CP14-96-000. We need your help before January 23, when they may decide to accept the currently inaccurate Environmental Impact Statement and move forward with the project.”
