West Roxbury's community centers are closed on July 4, as are libraries and city offices.
The following is information on what's open and closed on July 4 and other things affected by the holiday. It is recommended you call ahead to a store first to see if they are open:
Trash Collection: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday collection is one day late except Boston Proper, Roxbury, and Charlestown.
Tow Lot: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. (may close early if demand is low)

Street Sweeping: No Wednesday cleaning (overnight midnight - 7 a.m. arterials excepted).
Government offices, Boston City Hall and city offices, libraries: Closed.

Community Centers: Closed. Some facilities open limited hours (Curley Center: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Mirabella Pool: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Clougherty Pool: 12-8 p.m.).
