What's Open on Labor Day, and Holiday Trash Schedule
Police and fire departments are always on duty, all other state and federal buildings closed.
As you enjoy your Labor Day, remember that police and fire personnel are still on duty. So if that BBQ gets out of hand please call 911.
Supermarkets like West Roxbury's Roche Bros (8 a.m. to 11 p.m. ) and Shaw's (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.) will be open regular hours on Labor Day.
All non-emergency city and state buildings are closed for Labor Day, like the West Roxbury Library.
