Joan is also survived by siblings, Mary Jean Higgins of Manchester, NH, John "Jack" Kelly of Plantation, FL and Patricia Clancy of Brookline and many nieces and nephews.

Joan was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. "Rocky" Sullivan, ret. patrolman Brookline Police Dept.

Joan was a retired employee of the N.E. Tel & Tel/NYNEX and late member of Telephone Pioneers of America.

Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline, Saturday, August 13, 9:10 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass, St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline, 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home, Friday, August 12, 4–8 p.m. Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery.
