Dedham Westwood Water District Construction Project Starts April 13

Dedham Westwood Water District will be starting a construction project on April 13, 2020 to install a water main on Canton Street, from the East Street Rotary to Canton Terrace. The project is anticipated to last between 6-8 weeks, for work hours 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Canton Street will be closed from the rotary to Canton Terrace. Detours will be set up with Police Officers on scene to assist.

Also, residents will not be able to access Canton Street from Downey Street. Any resident living in the work area will have access to their driveways. Please be sure to speak with either the contractor or Police Officer if you need to leave or enter your property. The road will reopen after 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday and remain open Saturdays and Sundays. If schools reopen while the work is ongoing, the contractor will work with the town to adjust the traffic plan and work times.
