'Humor and Caregiving' hosted by Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood

Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood will host the presentation, "Humor and Caregiving," on Thursday, June 18.

Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood will host the presentation, “Humor and Caregiving,” on Thursday, June 18 at noon at the Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood Welcome Center, 252 Providence Highway in Lambert’s Rainbow Square. Unexpected humorous moments are common in caregiving, especially the unprompted and unintentional antics of those with dementia. This presentation, led by Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Director Alicia Seaver, will discuss the topic of humor in caregiving, how to best handle it, and confirm that it is okay to just laugh once in a while.

This event is part of Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood’s ongoing educational series on memory care. Presentations are free and open to the public but space is limited. For more information or to RSVP, please call 781-251-6630. Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood, EOEA Certification Application Pending, is a memory care assisted living community that will open in summer 2015.
