Natick VNA Appoints 2015 Board of Trustees

Framingham resident Daniel Mainzer to serve as Trustee.

The Natick Visiting Nurse Association (Natick VNA), the area’s premier free-standing, not-for-profit home health care agency, announced it has appointed its 2015 Board of Trustees.

Michael J. Murphy will serve as Board Chair, and Clinton Heyd will serve as Vice Chair. Both men live in Natick.

David B. Shorey of Ashland will serve as Treasurer, and Judie B. Ham of Natick will serve as Clerk.

Other Board of Trustees members include Lynn Falwell of Natick, Daniel Mainzer of Framingham. Arnold Zaltas of South Natick is an Emeritus Trustee.

Murphy is an attorney in private practice. Heyd is a retired sales and risk management professional. Shorey serves as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending for Needham Bank; and Ham is a retired clinical research and research administration professional who also serves on various Natick VNA committees. Falwell is co-owner of It’s Your Move, a move management firm based in Natick; and Mainzer is partner at Flanigan, Cotillo and Mainzer, LLP, a CPA firm in Framingham.

The Natick VNA Board of Trustees is tasked with upholding Natick VNA’s mission; supporting and evaluating the agency’s services; identifying the needs of the organization and working to meet those needs; assuring that management and staff develop, implement and evaluate programs and services to meet the goals outlined in the agency’s strategic plan; and maintaining personal knowledge of the financial status of the organization, as part of the trustees’ fiduciary responsibilities.
