Westwood Artists featured in Westwood libraries in March
Westwood Artists exhibit art in the Westwood Public Library featuring 12 of Westwood's resident artists plus solo show at Islington branch
Westwood Artists hosted an opening reception on Thursday evening, March 1st at the Westwood Public Library to talk about the artwork featured in the first floor gallery. Twelve Westwood Artists are featured in this exhibit for the month of March.
Westwood Artists is a group of professional artists who live and create art in Westwood. Collaboration began in 2016 with Westwood Day featuring it's founders: Ceramicist Jane Wojick, Photographer Karen Cagan, Watercolorist Carol Ahearn, Fiber Artist Kathy Zola, and Ceramicist Lisa WB Walker. Since it's inception, the group has offered opportunities to all Artists living in Westwood: a Spring and annual Holiday Marketplace at the Westwood Fisher School, a Maker's Day at Powisset Farm, Westwood Day group booths, a year round gallery at the Westwood Media Center, and much more.
Artists featured in the Westwood Public Library exhibit are: Tricia McMahon (painting), JoAnn Rose Foley (photography), Maureen Obey (painting), Melanie Guerra (photography), Barbara Gearon (Painting), Liz Knight (pen & ink, watercolor), Marilyn Brier (Glass/Jewelry), Jane Wojick (Ceramics), Carol Ahearn (Painting), Karen Cagan (Photography), Lisa WB Walker (Ceramics), and Zelayna Rauch (Textile).
