Pursuant to Chapter 40A, §9, the Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 7:30 PM. The public hearing will be a remote meeting through Zoom due to the COVID-19 state of emergency and in compliance with the Governor’s March 12, 2020 Executive Order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law MGL C. 30A, §18 and the Governor’s March 23 Emergency Order imposing limitations on the number of people that may gather in one place. Those wishing to participate are encouraged to use Zoom.

The WESTWOOD HISTORICAL COMMISSION will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 7:30 PM virtually via Zoom, regarding an application filed by Ann Brown requesting the predetermination of historical significance of a single family residence, which may be historically and/or architecturally significant and/or Demolition Authorization for the same structure. The structure is located at 1297 High Street. The Historical Commission’s review will be conducted pursuant to Westwood General Bylaw Chapter 250A.
The property is located in the Single Residence C (SRC) zoning district and shown on the Assessor’s Map as MAP 28, Lot 007. The single-family residence located at 1297 High Street, is believed to have been constructed in 1800.
The plans and application are available for viewing on the Town’s website under “Current Applications Link” for the Historical Commission at www.westwoodpermit.org.
