The Town of Westwood has an immediate opening for a Town Tax Collector to serve until the next Town Election in the spring of 2022. The Office of the Collector is responsible for collection of all real estate taxes, sewer payments, motor vehicle excise taxes, and any other fees. The Town Tax Collector oversees the Office of the Collector, with the coordination of the Finance Director.
At the annual town election scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the position will be posted on the ballot. At the election, residents will be able to select a candidate to fill the position for the remainder of the term, which is one-year. This is an opportunity to serve your community and participate in the operation of Town government.

If you are interested, please email a letter of interest and resume to the Select Board’s office by 4:30 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at selectboard@townhall.westwood.ma.us with “Town Tax Collector” in the subject line. The Select Board will review candidate resumes and determine next steps.

*Due to a recent resignation, Albert Wisialko's term as Town Tax Collector will end on September 30, 2021. Mr. Wisialko has served the town of Tax Collector for three decades. The town would like to thank Mr. Wisialko for his service to the town of Westwood.
