Weymouth Resident Cuts Ribbon at Bunker Hill Day Parade
Here's what happened at the parade June 14th, 2015
NYC Police Commissioner Bill Bratton came home to Boston on June 14 to march with pal, retired Boston Police Deputy Superintendent Bob O’Toole, a Charlestown native, who presided over this year’s Bunker Hill Day Parade as Chief Marshal. Bratton’s 88-year-old dad William was also with the crew, and when Mayor Marty Walsh heard the elder Bratton was raised in Charlestown, he handed over the scissors and had Bratton Sr. - grinning ear to ear - cut the ribbon to kick off the parade. William Bratton Sr. is now a resident of Weymouth, MA.
Commissioner Bratton’s wife, CBS legal analyst and Investigation Discovery (ID) host Rikki Klieman, also marched.
