Coyote Carcass Dumped Illegally in Weymouth
The coyote, which was shot and killed with an arrow, was discovered on Tuesday.

Weymouth Police Animal Control are looking to speak to anyone who has information about a coyote carcass that was dumped illegally on Tuesday.
Police said the coyote was shot with an arrow and and dumped near Whitman’s Pond on Island View Road, WHDH reported.
Although the coyote may have been killed legally, the animal’s body was dumped illegally, according to WHDH.

This incident was not the first time a coyote was shot and killed with an arrow and dumped near Whitman’s Pond.
A coyote was shot with an arrow and dumped at the end of Island View Road at Whitman’s Pond in November.

The Town can only take action against coyotes that are found attacking persons, according to Weymouth Police Department website.
Anyone with information on who killed the coyote can contact Animal Control officer Mike Parker at 781-335 1212.
