WHAT: The Friends of South Shore Health invite you for an evening of music with international recording star and Irish Tenor, John McDermott!
Originally from Scotland, McDermott resides in Canada and is credited as the Founder of the Irish Tenors, but currently tours as a soloist. Among his repertoire of stirring ballads, McDermott is most widely recognized for his rendition of “Danny Boy” and for his tribute to his father, “The Old Man” which never fails to evoke strong emotions and touch the collective hearts of his audience.

While this event is certain to entertain, it will also pay tribute to Francis “Fran” Yafrate who was cared for in the Critical Care Unit at South Shore Hospital. Although, he passed away in 2017, he and his wife, Maryalice, were great fans of John McDermott.
