Proceeds benefit local cancer patients

South Shore Health is now recruiting cyclists to join its 2020 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) team. Routes are filling up fast so register today! If you have already registered as a team or single cyclist, you can choose to join Team South Shore Health and make a difference for local patient’s seeking world class cancer care close to home.
Joining Team South Shore Health – “Riding As One,” is an exciting way to participate in a fun, legendary event. Since its inception, the PMC has raised more than a half-billion dollars for adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund. Funds raised by South Shore Health team members will benefit present and future patients being treated locally at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital.
Longtime hospital supporters, Len Bicknell, former president of Alvin Hollis in Weymouth and Steven “Skip” Sullivan, president of Electro-Prep, Inc. in Wareham, are joining South Shore Hospital’s Brian Dolan, MD, to lead Team SSH riders in their efforts to raise money for cancer patients receiving treatment on the South Shore.
