Kristen Seaton Joins Weymouth Club's Aquatics Department
The Weymouth Club is a family-friendly fitness, wellness and recreation facility catering to residents throughout the South Shore.

The Weymouth Club is pleased to announce Kristen Seaton, a USA Certified Head Swim Coach, has become a full-time aquatics instructor at their Waves Swim School.
The Weymouth Club, a family-friendly fitness, wellness and recreation facility catering to residents throughout the South Shore, has announced that Seaton will run her popular and highly successful Water Babies and Water Toddlers swim programs and provide private swim instruction for all ages.
Seaton has been teaching swimming for 15 years, and over the last decade, has operated Powers Aquatics as a full-time swim instructor. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Marist College in New York, where she played Division 1 Water Polo. She is CPR, AED, First Aid, Oxygen and Lifeguard certified.
Seaton, who has a nine month-old daughter who is an impressive swimmer, offers a progressive teaching curriculum for children age two to 36 months old. Beginning at two months old, babies learn how to back float and swim from six feet underwater to the surface unassisted. From day one, they are introduced to a set of 11 skills, which are developed over the course of two years.
"Babies between two and eight months old are able to do more in the water because at that age holding their breath underwater is an automatic reflex," explained Seaton.
Parents/guardians stay with their babies/toddlers in the water for the entire lesson, which is a maximum of 30 minutes.
