What: The Odyssey is pairing up with CityGolf Boston to write a more forgiving set of rules for local hackers taking in the final round of the 97th PGA Championship – Instead of losing two strokes by hitting it in the drink, the Odyssey is welcoming aboard PGA certified instructors from CityGolf Boston to provide lessons and video swing analysis on the water as part of a specialty-themed, PGA Championship brunch cruise and viewing party.

On Sunday, August 16th, CityGolf instructors will be bringing aboard hitting mats, hitting nets, golf clubs and their state of the art, Dartfish video swing analysis equipment to provide hands on instruction to guests in attendance. CityGolf’s innovative Dartfish technology records a student’s swing and allows it to be meticulously analyzed and even compared to top pros like the ones that will be vying for 2015’s final major tournament on the Odyssey’s big screen TV’s during the cruise. Along with instruction, guests will have a full-motion video of their swing uploaded to the internet with instructor notes for convenient at-home viewing.
