Paul and Sandy Edgerly and Highland Street Foundation Proudly Present Shooting Touch's Star-Studded 6th Annual Gala

Boston Non-Profit Harnesses the Power of Basketball to Elevate Health, Education and Opportunities for Youths and Young Adults Worldwide

Shooting Touch is proud to announce its 6th annual gala, celebrating its success in leveraging basketball to increase access to health education and social development opportunities for at-risk youths around the world, and provide thousands of young athletes with opportunities to play, learn and grow on and off the court every year. Since its inception in 2007, Shooting Touch has grown from a local Boston basketball program to an international non-governmental organization (NGO) with work on three continents and seven countries, positively impacting over 3,000 youths globally each year.

ESPN’s Fran Fraschilla will be the evening’s emcee and Boston stand-up great Lenny Clarke will host a live auction where those in attendance can to bid on a variety of spectacular items. The gala, which is being presented by Paul and Sandy Edgerly andSean and Lisa McGrath’s Highland Street Foundation, will draw sports celebrities and business leaders from the NBA, ESPN, The Boston Celtics, Nike, Reebok, Intensity Corporate, Won Every Game, LLC, Gideon Strategic Advisors, Shark Ninja, Tufts University, Lehigh University, Bentley University and Harvard University.

About Shooting Touch:
Shooting Touch, Inc. was founded in 2007 by Justin and Lindsey Kittredge. As a nonprofit organization, Shooting Touch uses basketball as a platform for health education and social development for youth from under-resourced areas of the world. Since its inception, the organization has grown from a local Boston grassroots basketball organization, to a global NGO with programming on 3 continents, 7 countries, impacting over 3,500 youths a year. Currently, the organization operates out of its domestic headquarters, Boston, Massachusetts and its international headquarters, in Rwanda. All programming is focused on increasing access to the sport of basketball and providing vital on and off court education for positive youth development.
