The South Shore Conference for Women, powered by She's Local, Inc. will inspire women and offer opportunities to connect with peers

In an effort to inspire and uplift women, South Shore Health is proud to be the lead and founding sponsor for the first-ever South Shore Conference for Women.
The event, to be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Marriott in Crown Colony, Quincy will offer ten panels, with 30 panelists who will present on topics ranging from finance to self-worth, entrepreneurship to health. The event will also feature more than 40 exhibitors.
“As the largest employer in the region, South Shore Health is thrilled to be a part of this empowering and informative conference that brings together women with a shared objective to connect and inspire one another,” said Rose Di Pietro, MBA, RN, Interim President/CEO of South Shore Health. “We share a common goal, advancing our community, and we’re happy to do that by supporting the women of the South Shore.”

The theme for the conference is Our Time Is Now! - which builds off of conversations women are currently engaged in among their peers, mentors, families and friends.
Highlights of the event include two keynote speakers: Dr. Patti Fletcher, CEO of PSDNetwork and HR.com’s Chief Equity Advocate and HR Disrupter; and long-time marketing executive, Liz O’Donnell, founder of Working Daughters. Fletcher will share her passion for changing the way the world views women who lead change, while O’Donnell will share her expertise on balancing work/life challenges.

“This conference is unique in three major ways: relevance, relatability, and access.” said Jen Maseda, President, MetroWest Conference For Women and CEO, She’s Local, Inc. “Our mission is to create an accessible platform for local women, who otherwise might not have the opportunity to connect on a personal level or hear from successful women living parallel local lives.”
