Take a class at South Shore Health’s Center for Physical Wellness

Workout in a safe, clean gym with the help of clinically-trained experts

South Shore Health’s Center for Physical Wellness is open and ready to help you safely get back to your fitness routine! Located at 780 Main Street in Weymouth, the Center for Physical Wellness offers a variety of exercise programs, as well as personal training.

The following classes are now open for registration:

  • Mindfulness in Motion: This relaxing, once-a-week program combines mindfulness, yoga, Tai Chi and balance. Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.; $35/month
  • Functional Fitness: Work on balance and strength to help you become more confident with daily tasks. Tuesday and Thursday 12:45 p.m.-1:30 p.m.; $60/month
  • Women’s Stretch and Strengthen: Combine resistance training, core work, and endurance training. Monday 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.; Friday 11:30 p.m. -12:30 p.m.; $60/month
  • Core and More: Focus on core strengthening, back health, and functional movement in this resistance-based program. Monday and Wednesday 4:30 p.m.-5:15 p.m.; $60/month
  • Senior Strength Training: This program is designed to improve endurance, strength and balance. Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 p.m. – 12:15 p.m.; $60/month

To ensure your safety, all of our staff are required to wear a mask to help prevent the spread of illness and all equipment has been arranged and properly spaced to maintain social distancing. Participants will be screened by staff members and required to wear a mask during their class time. Classes have a limited capacity of six participants.
