Twitter Account Linked to Weymouth Bomb Threats
The latest bomb threats to Weymouth may have come from the Twitter account @Ev4cuati0nSquad.

WEYMOUTH, MA - A series of bomb threats aimed at South Shore Hospital, the Weymouth Police Department, and various businesses may have come from a group running a Twitter account.
The account “Evacuators 2K16,” who had the handle @Ev4cuati0nSquad, linked themselves to the threats. The account has been deactivated but screenshots taken by the Telegraph shows a tweet that states, “How are you all doing out there in Weymouth, Massachusetts? #Lockdown”
The profile for @Ev4cuati0nSquad said they are comprised of six international-based individuals.

In another tweet, they said “Want to get out of school for a day? Want to divert the police away from a crime you’re going to commit? Email us” The email provided had a Russian ”.ru” domain name.
Monday night, several bomb threats were received around town. The locations were checked by officers with assistance from the K-9 explosive detection units from the Quincy Police Department and MBTA Transit Police, Department, according to Weymouth police.

Mutual aid was provided by patrol units from Braintree and Quincy.
The threats are the most recent to hit Weymouth. On Jan. 15, both middle schools received an automated threat. Four days later, the middle schools and high school again received a threatening call. In both cases, no suspicious items were discovered.
The incident is under investigation by the Weymouth Police Department.
