Weymouth Deputy Police Chief Selected for Cohasset Police Chief Opening
The Cohasset selectmen will vote to accept the decision on Tuesday.

Cohasset’s next police chief could come from Weymouth.
On Tuesday, the town’s board of selectmen will decide if they should endorse Town Manager Christopher Senior’s decision to hire Weymouth’s deputy police chief Joseph Comperchio according to the Boston Globe. Residents, however, are backing interim police chief William Quigley, who has served in the role since 2012.
Starting with the Weymouth Police Department in 1988, Comperchio has 26 years of law enforcement experience and 10 years of service with the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
