Weymouth Rotary Giving Away $25K at Annual Fundraiser

The Weymouth Rotary will be giving away $25,000 at their annual fundraiser at the end of the month.

Rotary member Lois Drukman said raffle tickets cost $100, and only 650 tickets will be sold.  The raffle will be a reverse drawing, which means the last number drawn will be the $25,0000 winner.  Every 50^th number drawn will also win a prize.

The Weymouth Rotary fundraiser will be held May 31 at the Weymouth Lodge of Elks on 1197 Washington Street.

Tickets for the raffle can be purchased online at Weymouthrotary.org.

Drukman said the Weymouth Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self,”  and she encourages more residents to attend their weekly meetings, every Monday at Hajjar’s Function Room at 6:15 p.m..

Drukman said the Rotary is actively involved in many worth causes including Weymouth Elder Services, Local Youth Activities, Child Identification Programs, Worldwide Eradication of Polio, Veterans Outreach, Father Bill’s Shelter, International Relief Programs, Student Awards and Scholarships, Red Cross Blood Drives, Eddie O’Rourke Christmas Giving, Clean Water Program, Weymouth Rotary Foundation and more.
