Winter provides us with the best sky viewing of the year. What can you see in a sky full of stars? We will examine the December night sky and explore the wonders of stars, planets, and constellations. What planets are visible this time of year? When will we be able to see Orion? What’s the name of that bright star high in the sky tonight? We’ll end with a trip to the North Pole and observe that sky for a December night and a day.
Take home a Star Map of the December sky and explore the heavens from your own backyard. Come inside and stay warm while you view the big sky above us.
No matter what the weather is outside, the stars always shine in Weymouth’s community planetarium.

Enter through the Gold Building's main door located under the silver arches by the flag pole.
Seating is limited to 67 individuals per event, so your registration is important. You cannot be admitted without being registered. Seating is determined on a first come, first served basis.
