2017 Father's Day Tribute: by 9 year old Singer-Songwriter Maddie V

Burlington resident and elementary student, Maddie Vallerand releases her first single on Father's Day 2017: HEART OF GOLD! Maddie is a 9 year old singer-songwriter who co-wrote her first single with producer Oph Kiltah and Margaret Murphy Corsino of Okword Studios. Vallerand wanted to write a song about her grandfather Ivan who was her best friend and passed away last year due to Parkinson's disease. Maddie has great memories of her Papa Ivan which she cherishes and wanted to share with her family through her music. Maddie is a competitive dancer and loves ballet and tap. She likes learning to play piano, ukulele, and the recorder in music class in Burlington. Maddie has been taking private vocal lessons for two years and plans to write a song about her two labrador retriever's next! Her two uncles accompany Madison on the track with acoustic, electric guitar and drum instrumentation. The cover art shows Madison with her Papa Ivan apple picking at Parlee Farms in Tyngsboro, MA.
