Abundant Life Christian School and Learning Center

Abundant Life Christian School and Learning Center is now enrolling for the 2018/2019 school year.

Founded in 1982 by the Abundant Life Church of Wilmington (formerly First Baptist Church), Abundant Life Christian School (ALCS) and Learning Center has been providing quality childcare and private education for children and students from infants through grade 8 for more than 35 years, partnering with the vibrant Wilmington community.

Proud to be part of a community that values every generation, the Learning Center serves the youngest members of our community, providing a safe and secure setting specializing in infants, toddlers, pre-school and pre-kindergarten
children. Embracing “Children are a gift from God,” the Learning Center staff emphasizes loving the children in their care in addition to providing exploration and activities that build a child’s confidence and joy. The Learning Center is
a colorful, creative, musical place that encourages imagination and prepares young children for a lifetime of learning.

For families with a faith component, and families who want their children grounded in a strong foundation of character and moral values, the Grade School program provides a quality private education in a distinctly Christian setting dedicated to growing all students intellectually, socially, physically and spiritually. Serving students from more than 25
communities, the vision of the Grade School is to send ALCS graduates into their high school years thoroughly
equipped to be successful in every aspect of life. Academics, arts, spiritual growth, sports, music, technology, language and service combine to equip students to serve the broader community. From local service to building projects in the Dominican Republic, students learn that they are citizens of the world and have much to contribute at any age. Our students begin learning Spanish in 1st grade, middle school students experience out-of-the-box electives, and each of our classrooms is equipped with current, exciting technology integrated into the curriculum.

One of our greatest joys is the number of former students who have enrolled their own children. What a vote of confidence as we enter our 36th year of serving the families of Wilmington and surrounding communities!

Financial aid is available for families who wish to enroll their children at ALCS.
