Dear Editor,
I am writing in support of one of my role models and a candidate for re-election as State Representative: David Robertson. This summer I interned with Representative Robertson. As a senior at Wilmington High School who is passionate about public service, it was a dream come true for me.

Working with Rep. Robertson, I saw firsthand how he fights for Wilmington and Tewksbury. I saw his empathy for everyone who asks him for help and how he follows through on every constituent concern. It seems like he never stops working, and it is clear that he is driven by how deeply he cares about the people he represents.
Rep. Robertson encouraged me to be more confident, advised me as I figure out my future, and got excited for me when I succeeded. He had no personal benefit from mentoring me; he did it because he is a good person. That is the side of candidates that voters cannot gauge through the news or social media, yet is so important. Rep. Robertson strives to do good for others without looking for anything in return. It is one of the many reasons I look up to him and one of the many reasons we need him in office.
Rep. Robertson models the type of public servant I hope to be someday. As I begin my unusual senior year, I hope to at least have confidence that a selfless and knowledgeable leader is fighting for our community.
Sincerely,
Miriam Nelson
Letter from Wilmington Selectman Gary DePalma:
To The Editor
It’s been almost 2 years since David Robertson was elected Wilmington and Tewksbury’s State Representative and he has done what he set out to accomplish his first term. A first term State Rep who sits on 4 committees, works tirelessly for his constituents, always fighting for funding programs for Wilmington and Tewksbury.
During these troubling times we all keep hearing David Robertson’s name. Why? Because he’s out there working, keeping us informed and updated on the Coronsvirus and other issues. If an issue arises David’s voice is the first to be heard helping us understand and assistance with an issue.
One of Rep. Robertson’s biggest attributes is Constituent services. David and his staff responds to calls for assistance, no matter what time of day or night no matter what the issues David is there. David listens and learns from the people of our towns.
David’s one goal is to keep Wilmington Tewksbury one of the best safest places to live, raise a family work and retire in. David is doing the job we’ve asked him to do and more. David has just begun; we are blessed to have Representative Robertson in our corner represents we the people of Wilmington and Tewksbury.
David has and will continue to work both sides of the aisle at the State House: if a bill is good for his District he’ll support it, if not he will fight against it.
We elected this young man to represent us almost 2 years ago and I for one am proud to say we made to right choice. My support grows stronger for David each and every day. So I’m asking you to cast your vote again for our Friend David Robertson on Tuesday November 03 2020,
Thank you Gary DePalma,
Selectmen Town of Wilmington
Letter rom Tewksbury resident Nancy Reed:
To the Voters of Tewksbury and Wilmington,
As we approach the November election, we have an opportunity to continue the tenure of David Robertson as our State Representative. Two years ago, we elected David because he had already proven his commitment, professionalism and work ethic on local and State issues with his 10 years of prior service. For the last two years as our elected State Representative, David has proven further that we can depend on him to serve us with diligence and integrity.
As a 33-year resident of Tewksbury and having served on the Planning Board and other town committees, I have interacted with David on several topics over the past 12 years, during his service at the Statehouse. Dave is always ready and able to get the job done. He knows all the ‘ins and outs’ at the Statehouse and every topic and issue in Tewksbury and Wilmington. After being elected 2 years ago, he even hand delivered to the Town of Tewksbury, the deed from the State to the Livingston Street Recreation Area land - something that no one else seemed to be able to get accomplished for over 50 years! David knows how to get things accomplished and he works tirelessly to do that for us!
With David at the State House, we can be assured that we have the best qualified person and the hardest worker doing the job. Dave has proven this many times over the years.
I hope you will join me and re-elect David Robertson for State Representative on November 3rd!
Very Sincerely,
Nancy Reed
Tewksbury
