Joyce Not Running for Reelection

After 20 years as a state senator, Brian Joyce will not run for re-election.

Joyce announced through a statement Tuesday that he will not seek another term in the Massachusetts Senate this November. The past year for Joyce has been one full of controversy. Last week, the FBI and IRS raided Joyce’s Canton law office. The FBI said the action was “court authorized activity in connection with an ongoing federal investigation.”

Women in Cold Case ID’d After 20 Years

The remains of a person found more than 20 years ago in a wooded area of Hyde Park have been identified as a Fitchburg woman, the Boston Police Department and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
