Wilmington Coronavirus Rebound Continues With 2 More Cases

None of the active cases are at long-term care facilities, Health Director Shelly Newhouse said.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's coronavirus rebound is continuing, with the Health Department reporting two more active cases, Friday morning. The town has nine confirmed active cases.

None of the active cases are at long-term care facilities; the virus's first wave in Wilmington infected dozens of residents at three facilities.

Four residents are in quarantine for potential exposure to the virus.

One June 22, Wilmington had just one confirmed active case of the virus.
