Wilmington Police K9 Finds Drugs in Vehicle Search
Officers witnessed drug transaction and arrested one for distribution and possession charges.

On Wednesday night, Wilmington Police detectives, along with members of the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force, arrested Angeliris Diaz, age 37, of Lawrence after observing her make a drug transaction in Wilmington.
During the course of the investigation, Officer Palmer and K9 Ridic were called to the scene for a drug search of the vehicle. That search lead to the discovery of heroin and cocaine hidden inside a fake hair spray can with a false bottom.
Diaz will be charged with Distribution of a Class A Substance (heroin), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (heroin), & Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (cocaine).

She is being arraigned at Woburn District Court Thursday morning.
