Wilmington Reports Six Active Coronavirus Cases

The Health Department reported one fewer active positive than on Aug. 26.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington reported six active coronavirus cases, Thursday, down one from the town's last report on Aug. 26.

Another seven residents are in quarantine for potential exposure to the virus, the Health Department said.

According to statewide town-by-town data released Wednesday, Wilmington has had 361 confirmed coronavirus cases in total. Wilmington has reported a slight increase in its positive test rate, but statewide the positive test rate has fallen to just 1 percent.
