Wilmington Target on Track for October Opening

The new Wilmington Target is on schedule to open next month.

Company officials say everything is going well getting the store ready for its soft opening on Oct. 8 and its grand opening on Oct. 12. Store hours at the new location will be Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Looking to join the Target team? They are still hiring for a few positions including: some 6 a.m. logistics flow positions, as well as Starbucks Baristas and Target Cafe team members, as well as sales floor and cashier positions. Applications are available online or you can stop by the store and fill out an application at one of their kiosks and they will do on the spot interviews.

The Wilmington Target will have a Starbucks, a Target Cafe, a pharmacy and a full grocery store. Snow says the new location will also showcase the chain’s new interactive electronics layout, as well as a baby concierge center within the infants’ department.
