Wilmington Target's Grand Opening is Sunday, Oct. 12

New location is still hiring for full time positions.

Target will have its grand opening on Sunday, Oct. 12 at its new Wilmington location. The store had a soft opening earlier in the week and store representatives say everything is going smoothly. On Sunday morning at 8 a.m. a second ribbon cutting will take place to celebrate the grand opening.

And Wilmington residents, check your mail because coupons went out to the community that can be redeemed at the store over the next week.

The new Wilmington store is located at 210 Ballardvale St. and is providing more than 150 jobs to the Wilmington community and surrounding area. Store hours are Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Wilmington Target has a Starbucks, a Target Cafe, a pharmacy and a full grocery store. The new location also showcases the chain’s new interactive electronics layout, as well as a baby concierge center within the infants’ department.

Additionally, the store still has job opportunities available with 40 full time positions still to be filled. Applicants can apply at the store or online at target.com/careers.
