• Fall Town Meeting schedule (homenewshere.com) — Winchester residents and boards have just one month left to submit articles for the fall Town Meeting warrant, which closes Sept. 21. The piece walks through key dates for legal review, Select Board approval, printing, and mailing of motion books, ensuring Town Meeting members receive all materials by Oct. 29 ahead of November deliberations.
   

• Sing with Lexington Pops Chorus in its 45th season (winchesternews.org subscription) — Winchester-area singers are invited to join the Lexington Pops Chorus, which is holding free open rehearsals on Sept. 8 and 15 at Hancock Church in Lexington. The long-running community chorus welcomes music-reading singers, especially tenors, for a season featuring Bach's Magnificat, Gershwin, jazz standards, and more, with winter and spring concerts already scheduled into 2027.
