Hope Church Holds Rummage Sale

Looking for hope?  You'd find it in community members you met at Winchester's Hope Christian Church, during last weekend's rummage sale, located at 58 Mount Vernon Street. 

The reason for the rummage sale? To support those in need in the Chelsea community, which Ruben Rodriguez, an active member at both Winchester's Hope Christian Church and his own ministry, the Esperanza Cristiano Ministerios put together.

No stranger to adversity, Rodriguez understands the depth of the impoverished community Chelsea encompasses, and spends countless hours catering to the needy and homeless through his own efforts by taking food and clothing to shelters. 

Last weekend, the members of the Hope Christian Church pulled items from their homes to sell at the rummage sale in order to raise money to support the efforts Ruben has started. From books to glassware, and from children's toys to jewelry and furniture, everyone pitched in to support the cause, and all of the proceeds go to aid those in need in the city of Chelsea. 

Anything not sold will be taken to Chelsea, and another rummage sale will be held.
