Please join the League of Women Voters Spring Book Read of one of the country’s most talked-about books Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead by Facebook CEO Sheryl Sandberg. All are welcome – whether you have read the book or not.

We will be hosting a spirited conversation about this book from 7 to 9 p.m. April 8 in the Community Room of Winchester Savings Bank, 661 Main Street. Please join us.

Sandberg shares valuable lessons learned through her own experience as well as through research about how women can become stronger leaders, whether in the workplace or in community organizations.

One of the essential goals of the League is to promote leadership skills, so this book is appropriate for women of all ages, whether working to raise a family or outside the home – or both. Sandberg also offers insight on ways to balance obligations inside and outside the home while maintaining a sense of self.
