Obituary - Margaret M. DeAngelis

Visiting Hours are Sat., February 7 from 9:30-11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Eulalia's Church, Winchester, at 12 noon.

Margaret M. (DiPirro) “Margie” DeAngelis, age 89, of Manchester, NH, formerly a longtime resident of Winchester, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026. She was the beloved wife the late Dr. Vincent DeAngelis for over 60 years until his death in 2019.

Born in Somerville, MA, she was the daughter of Phillip A. and Marie A. (Esposito) DiPirro. She was raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School.

As a homemaker, Margie ran a busy household in Winchester, raising four children with active school schedules, activities and sports. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, baking, knitting and reading.

Margie is lovingly survived by her children: Tami A. DeAngelis of Manchester, NH, Vincent M. DeAngelis of Amesbury, Mark V. DeAngelis and his wife Jolene of Londonderry, NH and Todd C. DeAngelis of Manchester, NH. She was the devoted grandmother of Amanda, Nicholas, Audrey, Angela, Samuel and Lucia. She was also the dear sister of the late Mary Kocyk, the aunt of Kim Landry and her husband James and the late Tedd Kocyk, the great-aunt of Mark and Victoria Landry, and is further survived by her aunt, Anna Rego, a cousin, Carol Hebert and a son-in-law, John Oredson.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Saturday, February 7 from 9:30-11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Eulalia’s Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester, at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
