📰 News we're reading
• Winchester plug-in share nears triple the state rate (winchesternews.org) — Winchester now has one of the state's highest shares of plug-in vehicles, with 9.3% of passenger cars being electric or plug-in hybrids, nearly triple the Massachusetts average. Yet public charging remains limited, with few fully accessible town chargers, new fees planned for Laraway Road, and several school-based ports still awaiting activation and final financial arrangements.
• Field hockey notebook: Victoria Masucci, other stars return from injuries (bostonherald.com) — Winchester High's field hockey team is getting a major boost as senior forward and captain Brynn Henning returns from a torn ACL, helping lead the Red and Black to an 8-2-1 start. Her comeback, alongside other stars statewide, is reshaping the Division 1 field hockey race and fueling hopes for another deep postseason run.
