Ripley Presents “We Are All Homeless”
Art Installation and Gallery Talk by Artist/Activist Willie Baronet SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2021, 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, November 6, 7:30 pm, Ripley Presents will host an opening gallery talk with Artist/Activist Willie Baronet and his compelling art installation entitled We Are All Homeless.
The talk will be BOTH live (45 guests invited to Ripley Chapel!) and live streamed. Baronet has purchased more than 2000 homeless signs since 1993, and he uses this collection to create stunning and moving installations to raise awareness about homelessness. Baronet will offer his passionate reflections, sharing the stories of people on the streets, interweaving them with themes like purpose, mission, creativity, leadership and the meaning of home.
Baronet has created exhibits featuring these signs across the U.S. and the UK. The project has been featured in Yahoo! News, NPR - All Things Considered, HuffPost, Al Jazeera America, BuzzFeed, and dozens of other media outlets. An UpWorthy video about the project, uploaded on August 31, 2015, has been viewed over 6.4 million times.

The art installation, We Are All Homeless, will be offered at First Congregational Church’s Ripley Chapel from November 6 – 19. The exhibit is open to the public Mondays-Fridays, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Entry is found on the Vine Street side of the church, at the accessible ramp.
The church is asking for a free will offering. There is no admission fee, but we ask for generosity to support both Boston’s Outdoor Church (ministering to the homeless of Harvard Square) and Baronet’s We Are All Homeless foundation, continuing its mission of changing minds and hearts about the people on the streets.
