Winchester Attorney Documents 'The Adventures and Dreams of Older Americans'

Brendan Hare interviewed seniors from diverse ethnic, geographical and economic backgrounds to show what its like to grow old in America.

A Winchester attorney traveled across the country to ask older Americans about their lives to see how they feel about aging.

Brendan Hare found that life doesn’t stop once you get older. Hare took these responses to write “From Working to Wisdom: The Adventures and Dreams of Older Americans.”

The book is a compilation of stories told in the first-person narrative that shows the purpose and meaning of life within its pages.

The book is filled with short oral histories from interviews with older about 46 senior Americans from diverse ethnic, geographical and economic backgrounds. Hare found that while some Americans were retired, others were still out in the workforce.
