Winchester School System Failing Her Child

Resident has issues with special education dept.

To whom it my concern (if anyone is concerned at all):

My name is Jennifer James and I am a lifelong resident of Winchester. I have three children, two of whom attend Winchester public schools. My 12 year old daughter is a 7th grader at the McCall middle school. My daughter also has severe Dyslexia. I have been battling with this school district for far to long to get her the help she needs. I have complied with everything they have asked of us. I can no longer sit back at this crucial point in her life. When multiple teachers along the way have stated that they do not believe Winchester can meet her needs, you know something needs to be done.

Well now I am done! I am putting my foot down, enough is enough. We have more than enough evidence that my daughter needs more help, but the fact of the matter is that Winchester doesn't want to pay. I want answers from Winchester! Why are they failing my child? What has she done to deserve this treatment? How many other families have they failed? Is it because I'm one of the small amount of families in this town that doesn't have a lot of money, or because I come from what was considered the wrong side of the tracks.

I don't know the answers, but what I do know is how much I love my daughter and I will not stop until she gets where she needs to be.
